Alex Shelley (with Chris Sabin) defeated Angel (with Berto) taped for WWE Main Event before WWE SmackDown went live.
The dark matches scheduled were Lyra Valkyria and Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, and The War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) vs. The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston) in seperate match. The New Day got involved during the women's tag team match and then The War Raiders came out to set up an impromptu 8-Man Tag Team Match.
Lyra Valkyria, Bayley, Erik, and Ivar defeated Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, Xavier Woods, and Kofi Kingston by submission when they all locked in Boston Crabs on each of the heels at the same time in the center of the ring.
