Fraxiom (Axiom and Nathan Frazer) defeated Berto and Angel on WWE Main Event taped before SmackDown.
Grayson Waller defeated Rey Fenix on WWE Main Event taped before SmackDown.

The show opened with a video showing the men and women WWE Crown Jewel titles being transferred from Saudi Arabia to Australia. They showed the title belts in glass cases inside RAC Arena. Both titles will be on the line at WWE Crown Jewel Australia tomorrow on ESPN Unlimited and Netflix. The PLE will be on at 8am Eastern just like this SmackDown episode was.
WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes came out to the ring with the Crown Jewel championship ring in hand too. He will face WWE World Champion Seth Rollins for the Crown Jewel title and the ring tomorrow. He said this is the greatest WWE roster where anyone can step in to carry the weight. He mentioned Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, and CM Punk as a few examples. He said he could also be talking about Seth Rollins too. The crowd chanted "Seth is a wanker." Rhodes asked Michael Cole to repeat what they were saying but Cole refused because he didn't want to get in trouble for saying something crude. Wade Barrett said it for him instead. Rhodes said Rollins cannot beat him.
Chelsea Green walked up to Stephanie Vaquer backstage and offered her an application to be a new member of The Secret HerVice. Tiffany Stratton got into the camera shot and made Green nervous enough to walk away. Vaquer threw Green's application away and told Stratton that she will have her back tonight in action but it will be every woman for herself tomorrow for the women's Crown Jewel title and ring.
WWE United States Champion Sami Zayn came out to make the offer for his Open Challenge.
Cody Rhodes was walking backstage after the commercials and he ran into Jacob Fatu. Fatu said he wanted a WWE Undisputed Title shot when Rhodes gets done with Rollins. Rhodes accepted and walked away. SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis walked over and said he wanted to talk to Fatu about something in his office and he quickly walked away. Drew McIntyre jumped Fatu from behind and beat him up. Aldis came back with several other officials before McIntyre could do any further damage to Fatu.
Shinsuke Nakamura came out to answer the WWE U.S. Title Challenge..
Shinsuke Nakamura defeated WWE U.S. Champion Sami Zayn by Disqualification in 13:30 when Tama Tonga came down to ringside to attack Nakamura. Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, and JC Mateo then got in the ring to help Tama beat up both Nakamura and Zayn. After a couple of minutes Solo Sikoa joined them all in the ring and he was very happy with his faction.
Nick Aldis told Drew McIntyre backstage that he will face Jacob Fatu next Friday night. McIntyre liked the idea and then Fatu rushed him from behind to continue the fight.
Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton defeated Giulia and Kiana James when Stratton pinned James after the PME as Vaquer did a dive off of the ring to Giulia down on the floor in 8:37.
Sol Ruca and Zaria were talking about Australia backstage. WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss walked up to them and said they are an impressive team but not ready for the titles yet. Ruca said the champions both wanted a chance too once in their careers so that's all she and Zaria are asking for. Flair said they were right and accepted the challenge. Bliss agreed but warned them that there will be no holding back.
WWE Tag Team Champions Wyatt Sick6 (Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis accompanied by Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross) defeated The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins accompanied by B-Fab) when Ford was pinned after The Plague double team finisher in 6:34. Solo Sikoa and his faction got in the ring after the match and had an intense staredown with the champions.
Backstage, The Miz was interviewed and asked why he turned on Carmelo Hayes last week. He said Hayes said he was done with him first but Hayes should have felt lucky that he was willing to mentor him in the first place.
Damian Priest defeated Aleister Black in a Last Man Standing Match in 17:25 when Zelina Vega got involved to give Black some distance in between Priest up on a staging area in the arena. Black then threw a fireball in Priest's face and gave him a Black Mass off of the stage area sending him crashing into a table below. Priest was knocked out and could not answer the 10 Count. Black and Vega walked back to the locker room together to end the broadcast.
Jey Uso pinned Bron Breakker after a spear in a dark match.
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky defeated Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez in the dark match main event when Ripley pinned Perez with the RipTide.
